“Thousands of years ago, the city of Nexus was built around a well of magical power hidden deep below the earth. Over the course of thousands of years, Nexus soared to incredible wealth and power. Wandering tribes flocked to the city to worship and learn from the mysterious magicks beneath it.
As Nexus grew, more and more power was drawn from the well. And as more power was drawn, the more unstable the energies of the well became. After millennia of providing Nexus with knowledge and might, the well gave the city something new. Blight.
Beneath Nexus is a dungeon crawling card game for 4 to 6 players. Discover powerful treasures and unlock forgotten secrets in your quest to reclaim the city of Nexus. The Heroes combine their unique skills and powers to overcome the trials of The Blight Lord who uses fiendish monsters and dark magicks to destroy all who delve Beneath Nexus.”

Description
Silverclutch is a small tabletop game design company operating out of Philadelphia, Pa, consisting of Tom Panico and Chris Visco. We make easy to learn, though challenging, board and card games designed for the hardcore gamer to share with friends and family.
History
Tom Panico began developing an unnamed dungeon crawling card game in late 2014. It had all the trappings of classic fantasy role playing games and was intended to scratch the high fantasy rpg itch without the need for a lengthy rulebook. Chris Visco, a friend of Tom’s, playtested the game and, in early 2015, proposed they try to form a game design business and launch what would become Beneath Nexus as their first product.
After developing a rough business plan, Tom and Chris presented their ideas to, and received seed funds from, the Corzo Center for the Creative Economy and Drexel University. Tom and Chris incorporated to form Silverclutch Games in August 2015. After one year of development and playtesting, Silverclutch is now preparing to launch Beneath Nexus on Kickstarter to crowdsource production funds.
