Someone already knew… but now is official!
“As an offshoot of Cranio Creations, publisher of cult games such as Horse Fever, Escape From the Aliens in Outer Space and Sheepland, we are pleased to announce you the birth of a new board game publisher.
Please allow us to introduce you to… HORRIBLE GAMES! (Let the fanfare and the fireworks begin!)
Born from the fervid and delirious mind of Lorenzo Silva, author, among others, of Dungeon Fighter and Steam Park, Horrible Games will focus in the publishing of cool games (who would have thought?) that will try to stand out from the crowd, both for visual style and gameplay mechanics, in a strive for originality and entertainement. But always and foremost, Horrible Games will be about simple, pure, unbridled fun, for everyone.
Now that we are done with the boring but mandatory introductions, don’t fear! We have more than sweet words to share with you about our plans for the coming months.
To begin, all the upcoming Dungeon Fighter expansions, and any subsequent reprint of the whole Dungeon Fighter line, will be published from Horrible Games, the new owner of the Dungeon Fighter franchise (in enduring collaboration with Heidelberger Spieleverlag, as always). How cool is that, uh? The first one to be released will be the water expansion, Dungeon Fighter: the Big Wave, coming really, really (really, really) soon.
For the near-but-not-as-near-as-the-above future, we are pleased to announce that from now on we will be taking care of the Steam Park franchise too, with an expansion to the basic game also coming in a not-so-near-but-it-will-eventually-happen future.
You already know these games, so you know what to expect. But we have more, of course. Something crazy. Something new. There’s a new game coming, which may or may not have anything to do with some kind of graphical storytelling, we don’t want to spoil you the surprise (We’ve heard a scream… a strange, arcane, caps-lock-sounding word we didn’t fully get, something like “NOSPOILARZ!!!”, we’re not sure. Is this a thing from the internet?)
All we can say as of now is… STAY TUNED!
