Freod Games @SPIEL’16
“I’m Steve, from Perth, Western Australia, yes that mystical place that everyone’s heard of where kangaroos line the street and everything else is waiting to kill you. Well some of us have taken time off from fighting the hordes of killer quokkas, to throw together a new board game company, FREOD GAMES.
This year we decided to test the waters, learn the ropes, discover the joys of publishing and intercontinental airport lounge hopping, with a launch of our company at Essen 2016. We’ve started small with a few card games, before we launch a number of board games at next year’s SPIEL 2017. (So yes you’ve been warned you may get another news this time next year.)
So I’ll start the ball rolling by announcing, that this year we have no earth shattering, mega hype worthy board game with enough bling to bounce meeples off, but we do have a handful of great quick filler card games, that will tickle someone’s fancy.
And even if they’re not your cup of tea, what we’d love to do at Essen this year is meet you, if you are coming to Essen that is, and chat about our up and coming projects and have our own little fangirl moment.
