An experienced team and new miniatures for Assassin’s Creed®: Brotherhood of Venice

“The independent board game studio Triton Noir, founded by Thibaud de la Touanne in Montreal, takes the opportunity of the international board game convention SPIEL’18 to unveil the team working on its new tabletop title Assassin’s Creed®: Brotherhood of Venice. Come backstage in an exclusive video!

A team of veterans from the video and board game industries!
With a license deal with Ubisoft Montreal, Triton Noir has been developing Assassin’s Creed®: Brotherhood of Venice for months. The first demos will be held during the convention in Essen, starting this morning, and new characters including Ezio are to be discovered on their booth (Hall 5, A117). Behind the new game, there is a whole team of veterans.
As the founder of Triton Noir and developer of the successful V-Commandos, Thibaud de la Touanne has worked in the gaming industry for 20 years – 15 in video games. He is creating Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood of Venice with two notable figures: Manuel Rozoy, co-author of the game, and Fabrice Lamidey, story designer.
Manuel has an acknowledged gaming expertise and has explored a number of parallel gaming space-times, as reflected in his amazing game T.I.M.E Stories. Fabrice is an experienced developer, able to imagine successful worlds like the role-playing game Nephilim. The three of them have a strong mastery of the Assassin’s Creed universe, since they have worked for years at Ubisoft. Fabrice was the Creative director for Initiates, an Assassin’s Creed community hub founded by Ubisoft.

Great artists to build the world of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood of Venice
Triton Noir has also been working with the Montreal publisher Le Scorpion Masqué to create the game’s minis, under the supervision of Manuel Sanchez, Art director for the miniatures. This French expert who settled in Montreal builds on a solid background in the industry of minis (Ravage, Rackham…) and tabletop games (Asmodée, Days of Wonder…).
He manages the many artists involved in the development of the game, like the sculptors Arnaud Boudoiron, Stéphane Camossetto, Michael Jenkins, Aragorn Marks, Edgar Ramos, Stéphane Simon or Edgar Skomorowski, and the illustrators Tatiana Vetrova, Dimitri Chapuis, Emile Denis and Pascal Quidault.

From the moment the Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood of Venice project was initiated, Triton Noir has been capturing footage to invite everyone backstage. The first video is available.
The Kickstarter will start on November 13th 2018.”
