“Diesel Demolition Derby is a tactical drafting card game for 2-6 players featuring dieselpunk robots fighting each other. Set in the Crisis universe, and designed by Matthew Dunstan (Elysium, Costa Rica, Relic Runners), it rewards clever hand management and only takes 30 minutes to play.
You already know how to play it: pick a card, reveal it and resolve it. Pass your cards to the player to the left. While the basic mechanisms have appeared before in excellent games such as 7 Wonders and Sushi Go, Diesel Demolition Derby’s quick succession of tactical actions give it an action-packed feel through a series of difficult card drafting decisions.

The game is offered in a standard or a Deluxe edition with metal gear tokens. Also available is the Arenas mini-expansion that adds even more variability on 15 beautifully illustrated, extra large cards.
