“Game overview:
Kiwetin is a fun and addictive fast-paced boardgame.
The goal of Kiwetin is simple: reach the sacred flower first. In order to succeed, you’ll have to avoid hindrances and take advantage of the winds. Each spirit that you play moves at a different speed to offer a wide range of approaches. Action tiles are randomly placed on the board, so every game is unique. Beware of whirlwinds though; you could turn things upside down!
In Kiwetin, you’ll have to choose between 3 types of spirits. Each spirit moves at a different speed called a “natural movement”.
Roll the “‘movement dices” and combine it to this value. The result corresponds to the spaces you move on the board as well as the difficulty of remaining on a space. Play the action tiles until your character stops completely on a space.There are plenty of different tile effects, but the most powerful is the “whirlwind”. When you hit this tile, all bets are off! Players switch their character with the player on their right. The outcome of the game becomes unpredictable.
To remain on the space, roll the “grabbing dices” and get a result equal or higher to your total movement value. Some bonuses and penalties may apply.
To win the race, simply get across the board and complete the table turn. Your finishing order determines the order of character selection for the next game.
