\nThe \u2018Clash d\u2019Ard\u00e8che\u2019 has begun:<\/strong> buy the best sites, outsmart your competitors, bribe the mayor and create the campground of your dreams!<\/p>\n

The above is not a dream \u2013 it is a boardgame. A boardgame that puts you in the position of a campground owner, managing a campground along the river Ard\u00e8che.
\nGame designer Jan Willem van Dijk: \u2018The two core game mechanics are the price-quality steps and the bribe cards. The price-quality steps determine to which campground guests want to go. Influence those guests by building starbuildings on your campground and by charging them higher or lower prices. Because you don’t know the price set by your competitors, this is the time when you have to bluff your way to the desired outcome.
\nThe bribe cards are a combination of worker placement, card drafting and set collection-mechanics. Different combinations of cigars, jewellery and wine get you powerful favors from the mayor!
\nIn the expert version another mechanic is added: the gameboard becomes a strategic puzzle as your guests want to camp nearby your sanitary, swimming pool or restaurant. Luckily you can let them use your neighbours‘ facilities!\u2019

\nIn the solo-version of Clash d’Ard\u00e8che the friendly, but slightly corrupt mayor has gone megalomaniac. His nice country house in the outskirts of the small French village is no longer any good, he now demands the island as the vicinity for his mansion!<\/p>\n
