We’d like to invite you to once more view the newest updates we’ve prepared – introducing new spotlights (amongst others on the mobile app), new competitions (together with you we’re choosing a 13th Character for the game!) and new stretch goals (like “Orphans Of War”, “Farmers” and the extraordinary ASYMMETRICAL Rubble Die), we also have very good news for all those of you who waited for the confirmation of the language versions! 3 days until the end of this campaign, yet there are still more surprises up our sleeves…
FIRST MARTIANS & THIS WAR OF MINE
We have amazing news for you guys! We have a special guest designer joining This War of Mine: The Board game team!
Ignacy Trzewiczek, designer of the worldwide known bestsellers like Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island, Stronghold and Imperial Settlers and his upcoming masterpiece First Martians: Adventures on the Red Planet (with revolutionary system of storytelling built by dedicated First Martians app) is onboard for this project!
Ignacy will design a set of unique scripts for the game adding his ideas and perspective to the world of This War of Mine and in return we will design a set of adventures for his First Martians!
We hope that both games, This War of Mine and First Martians, will strengthen the trends we observe in board games these days and put accent on the theme and storytelling in games. We believe both games have some revolutionary ideas that will push modern board game design in an interesting direction.
